Tap only when the panel turns green. Too-soon and too-slow taps are strikes: three strikes end the run.
How to play
A grey panel reads "Wait for green…": hold steady.
The instant it turns green and reads "TAP!", tap the panel, or press Space or Enter.
A too-soon or too-slow tap is a strike: three strikes end the run.
Ten levels, three trials each; the response window tightens as levels rise.
Finish run ends the session from the game surface at any time.
The Science
Quick Tap challenges you to spot targets and respond quickly and accurately, engaging visual attention and hand–eye coordination.
The game is inspired by our 2026 randomised, double-blind, placebo-controlled study involving 100 adults aged 18–45 with self-reported dissatisfied sleep.
After 2 g/day of Magtein® for 6 weeks, the Magtein® group’s Aim Trainer score improved by 6.3% from baseline, with a significantly greater improvement than placebo (p < 0.05) [1]. The score combined the number of targets hit with accuracy.
Quick Tap is inspired by the study task, not the task used in the trial or a diagnostic tool.
